So…if you didn’t already know, I sort of work for NASA — very indirectly. I often struggle when people ask me what I do. The short of it? I write for NASA. The long story? I work for a non-profit that works with NASA, but most of the work I do is NASA-related. It all sounds much more glamorous than it is.That aside, I’m in love with all the images and videos NASA produces. They make me marvel at how beautiful and complex our world and universe are. There is definitely an up-side to my job.
What’s making you dream today?

Brandi, I didn’t know that! Love that image. My mom worked for JPL for many years (connected to NASA) so we got to go to space shuttle launches as kids. I’m so fascinated with that world.
Amazing.. the universe is such a beautiful mystery. I had no idea your work was NASA related. You’re right, it does sound very glamorous. But if you get to look at photos like that every day, I think it must be ;)
When I look at these sorts of things, I wonder how someone could not believe in a god of some sort, the beauty of the universe is so moving. Dreaming today of… Africa. I dream of Africa hehe. I’m hoping to be going for a trip soon! Your job sounds really exciting!
I can’t believe you write for NASA! That’s so amazing! I remember when I used to live in Texas, I would visit my uncle at work since he worked at the Johnson Space Center. I love anything that has to do with our galaxy. There’s something just so beautiful about it!
hey, brandi! it was nice hearing a little more about what you do! NASA pictures are beautiful and reminds me of how vast the universe really is, a thought i don’t always have on a day-to-day basis. before i started my current job in PT, i used to work in editorial for a science textbook publishing company and i was on the physics and astronomy team! and one of my main duties was putting the art manuscript for astronomy books together. and, oh man, i relished this part of the job because i got to look at NASA pictures alllll day! it was awesome. your job sounds so cool! science and writing…so up your alley!

oooooooh…thank you for this loveliness!!!
I live near NASA if that counts (okay maybe it doesn’t) and everyone here is going pretty nuts over the Endeavour shuttle
Your job sounds wonderful–how great to literally have a job where your head is in the clouds {even indirectly}. Love the images Brandi!

I love listening to lectures on space and the universe. I find the experience very spiritual. Thanks for sharing!
