Shooting Arrows

"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward" quote

This is not the only way I have discovered how instructive archery is when it comes to life. It’s transformed me in more ways that I can express. It pulls me away from the computer and into the woods, into a world where everything is possible when you believe in yourself and trust in yourself.

And that’s just the beginning.

  1. I love hearing how archery influences the rest of your life. I find it really fascinating how games/athletics can become metaphors for less tangible challenges in our lives. That’s why I like rock climbing so much. While I love the communion with nature; it’s also about pushing yourself beyond what you think is possible and opening yourself up to the fact that you will fail / fall, in fact that is the only way you get better. It seems like in life we have so few opportunities to try and fail without serious consequence. Climbing has been such a rewarding way for me to epically fail at something and in return get exponentially better at it. It really applies to much more than a rock wall, as archery does for you!! Thanks for getting me thinking about that <3 <3
